Create a Happy Business is a step-by-step guide that will teach you the inner (how you think, your attitudes, and habits) and the outer skills (time management, marketing, communication, delegation, and execution) you will need in order to achieve success as a self-employed business person. Create a Happy Business breaks down success into the Inner Game and the Outer Game. The Inner Game starts with your fundamental ideology and helps you determine your vision, values, and mission. Here you will discover how thought impacts performance and provides strategies for how you can deliberately shift your attitudes and thoughts so that you can perform more effectively and experience more joy in the process. Learn the differences between the brains and men and women and how you can take advantage of hemispheric specialization. The F.I.R.E. formula will give you the keys to playing the Inner Game with power and finesse, and the chapter on the Art of Goal Setting will show you why you haven’t accomplished your goals in the past and what you can do about it. The Outer Game will teach you what to do to build your business; how to get ready by having your office and product available, get set with a sales funnel and marketing mechanism, and go with a feedback loop to resolve problems and retain your customers. Learn the key benefits and disadvantages of MLM. Find out how to easily create rapport and communicate effectively to get your point across and lead others with love. Finally, learn how to manage your daily activities so you can make the best use of your time and energy.

There is a wealth of information in this book! What makes this book stand out is the practical steps we can put in place immediately to help us grow our businesses while reducing stress. There are several great exercises and thought provoking questions. My favorite is The F.A.M.E formula. We often know the things we "should" do but we don't do them. Instead we stress and complain. Carol's fresh approach gives us the nudge we need to take mindful action. Being a solopreneur its all up to me-so the reminder that "attitude is everything" is key to having a happy business and a happy life. After all why be in business if its not going to make me happy?

This is a book that will always come in handy because I will need to refer to it again and again - I'm always falling back on bad habits. But this little guides helps me to see them and make my life easier in the process.

This book provides great tools for determining what it really takes to be an entrepreneur. Many people think that starting their own business is something that they really want to do but few take the time to understand what characteristics can make them successful or even if they are well-suited to being a business owner. With the exercises and guidance in Carol's book, you can easily determine if you are really cut out to own your own business.
