ALERT & WARNING. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK. THE AUTHOR ANNE NGUYEN-LAU, PharmD, e-mail, me and said, this book, is out-of-print, and she pulled this book from the Amazon site, however, it is still here, for sell. This book, has over 30 errors. yes, indeed, over 30 wrong answers, the author is aware, of the more than 30 errors, and she refuses, to pull this book, from Amazon website, and other sites, as well.My only motivation for leaving a "I hate this book", review, is to well informed, Cpht, candiates, not to purchase this book. The questions & answers cannot be trusted. And , the author, Anne Nguyen-Lau, PharmD, is sloppy, for approving this book, to go to press. Moreover, to continue to sell the book, as is, without telling the CphT, candiates, by the way, this book has over, 30 errors, wrong answers, and all the answers, cannot be trusted. this is the wrong thing to do.Moreover, The author Anne Nguyen-Lau, PharmD, says she has another edition, however, that has not been forthcoming. This is the book, with more than, 30 errors, wrong answers.I am a Cpht, candidate, And I do not want any other candidate to experience the frustrations, and humiliations, for purchasing, a book, the author, knew was full of holes & untruths, And the author Anne Nguyen-Lau, PharmD is sloppy, and less than forthcoming. She is ignoring & overlooking, the errors and to continue to sell, this book, as is. This is not a nice thing for Anne Nguyen-Lau, to do..The reason why Anne Nguyen-Lau, PharmD,is with-holding, her knowledge, of the errors, is because, she wants to continue to sell the book,as is, and if she would speak-up, and make it clear, there are morethan 30 wrong answers, no one will buy the book.In addition, This book is part of an online class, at [...].Just so you know. And That's That.

My son spent 6 weeks to study the below three books and passed the exam (First Attempt). He said the real exam was actually easier than the materials from the three books. He has just graduated from High School and had no relevant experience in the field. He got the Kindle version of this book and thought $7.99 was very cheap for 1001 Comprehensive Questions/Answers!

This book did help me in preparing for the test but had I not had some experience and knowledge of pharmacy this book would have confused me because there were some wrong answers.

This revised Board Practice Exam questions is very helpful. I took it and passed my Board Exam for the very first time. I am so glad and thankful for the author who wrote this book. Without these practice exams, I don't think I would have passed it. I have taken a few courses in college and it is nothing compared to this book. These practice questions seem so real to the exam that I just took. I would recommend to anyone that has bought this book, to answer all or at least 800 questions before taking the Board Exam. I answered 955 questions and felt completely prepared for the exam. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to pass the National Pharmacy Board Exam for the first time. I did it! hurray!

I am not sure if the book form is better, but the Kindle edition is very hard to study from. The book was definitely not written or organized to be used in electronic format. All 1001 questions are asked first, then the answers are in the back of the book. Not only is it difficult to look up answers when they are 200 pages behind the questions, but to make matters worse the answers are not in order, so you have to flip through multiple pages to find consecutive answers.I did give 2 stars though because there are a great assortment of relevant questions. Just avoid the kindle edition.
