It was dirty inside but I still have it for nastolgi I was very disappointed but its still Matt Groening's early work and that's good.

I've been a huge fan of the Simpsons since they first aired, and recently I decided to check out Matt Groening's other works. I bought this book used and it was worth every penny. The comics here are unlike any other. I particularly enjoy them because they are totally irreverent, yet honest about the state of American society today. Many of the 'School is Hell' series appear in this collection. They are my favorites--they get me through long nights of studying. It makes me wish there was a 'Life in Hell' TV series to go along with the Simpsons.

It provides a comical and hilarious story of the Simpsons thatuses a combination of everyday life and some paradoxicalevents. It's definitely a must for those seeking the excitement and fun of the Simpsons.Great humour effects that can erase your worries. The laughter book of the century!!!

This belongs on your bookshelf next to Kafka and it is one of the funniest things you'll ever read. The Simpsons is tame compared to this stuff.

Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee heeheeheeheeheeeheeeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!!!! C'mon, it's by Matt Groening ("rhymes with complaiing"--MG), the guy who created "The Simpsons." This was his first and most sarcastic venture. A timeless classic.

THIS BOOK IS SO COOL, THAT IT EVEN HAS BONGO'S (a funny bunny) DREAM HOUSE! if you like Futurama and the Simpsons, then this is a book for you!(oh, and by the way, if you just want to read this for the bunny family, i suggest you read the "Jeff and Akbar" strip, It's definitly the best!)

The early works of "Life in Hell," lovingly reproduced here in large format, are a lot more personal and cynical than "The Simpsons" or even more contemporary "Life in Hell" strips. In those days, "Life in Hell" was not just a comic strip -- it was therapy for Groening, and in turn, for his readers. I recommend this book highly to anyone who is a fan of the Simpsons and anyone who appreciates cynical humor.
