Being a Bishop does not keep you from knowing the pain of losing a loved one. This story tells of that overwhelming grief. It also tells of a special person in your life who can help you through that grief. Someone to listen, to talk it through or just a shoulder to cry on. It also tells of finding new love, when you think it's not possible. A wonderful story of courage, patience, understanding and love. This is a great continuation of the lives and people of the first book.

I enjoyed this second book in this series. I liked the way it kept all the same people from the first book in this second book so we could continue to see the happenings of their lives, and yet added more folks for us to get to know. This story although was a romance, was different from the first book. This book continues to show the Amish life and customs which makes the book interesting. The story is another romance of another sister of the main family and how life continues to throw twists and turns in our lives to help us grow, Ana seeks direction from The Lord and her family so she can make the best choices. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I hadn't read Holly Newcastle before, but have really enjoyed her writings in this series.

very nice. Fast paced. I loved how the characters didn't waste time, as they do in so many novels. It's sooooooo annoying. one hurdle after another, one misunderstanding after another, makes me want to pull my hair out. This was a VERY REFRESHING CHANGE! I wish more christian authors would follow holly newcastle's example in this book, and get on with the story, instead of long drawn-out unnecessary complications that the characters have to go through before finding happiness! KUDOS, Holly!

I enjoyed this book so much that I finished it very quickly. I read every extra minute to see what would happen next.

I thought book one in this trilogy was good, but this to me was even better. I am so enjoying this trilogy. I love Holly Newcastles writing. I love the Glick sisters. Her younger brothers are adorable. I loved Anna and Elijah's story. These two were meant to be together. This was a page turner from the beginning to the end for me. I couldn't put the book down wanting to know what would happen next. I highly recommend this book! Now for book 3.

Anna and Abram are courting. They live in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Anna enjoys listening to Bishop Elijah Hartzler's sermons. His wife is expecting a child but the whole community is concerned as she had two stillborn children already. The bishop I still grieving these babies and is very worried about his wife.

I loved this story and the style of writing. It is heartbreaking at times, this is one of the best stories I have read. Very different and keeps you wondering what will happen next. A great Christain read . It can be a stand alone are you can read the searies as each one is a different story, but the others all tie ok n
