If you previously played the Rage card game, are new to it or were a fan of the old books then you'll probably enjoy this.I like how there's a lot of card art in the illustrations and it really gave me the nostalgic feel I was hoping for. This is basically the mini instruction book with the decks made larger, with graphics and stuffed with a whole bunch of story and genre lore. If you were or are a fan I highly recommend it.There's a rare/uncommon/common checklist, section at the end with rules and image clarifications as well as a basic FAQ section. It's a pretty good gameplay book when you compare it to the deck inserts.I purchased two copies one for me and one as a gift for my brother. Something to consider is this book is about 20+ years old so when you're looking for copies if you can find a new one then I would jump on it even if it is a few dollars more. Also if you do buy it, make sure you check the sellers notes. These copies range from new to below average meaning you'll either get a perfect copy or could end up with one that has torn, highlighted or missing pages etc. so make sure you check the book quality rating before you place the order. Really try and find new or like new quality. This is also because it's probably going to be shipped in a padded envelope and might see a couple bruises in shipping. Also note that if this is a gift for someone consider ordering it expedited shipping. Most shippers will send this USPS discounted media rate so you can plan on a minimum of a week unless you snag a copy with Amazon prime. So plan accordingly just in case it's coming media rate.I'm going to upload some photos but not many because i don't want to spoil the read for anyone. The one photo with the deck is so you can have a size reference.
