I love this. My 8 year old gal picked the wrong path in the book and the little kid died in the story. So....the book is put away for another year or 2. She's just a little scared of the reality of it.

This book was supposed to be in very good shape. The cover was bent and creased, the pages were dirty, the book had been written in and drawn in, and there was a 50 cent yard sale sticker on the front!

My son is 6, almost 7 and came home from school one day asking for this book. I did a little reading up on it and figured I'd give it a try, as I thought he may be too young for it. He LOVES it! He will sit and read it to me. :)

I got this for my 9 year old niece's birthday and she loved it. I didn't know but her and my brother are working on their own choose your own adventure book so I think this helped out a lot.

My kids ages 6 & 8 were on the edge of their seat the whole time I read this book. School requires 30 min of reading a night, I read over an hour for 2 nights straight to complete this book; where both brother and sister survived. My daughter the 6 year old wanted to read it again on the 3rd night.

I read this to my seven year old (girl) and she liked it some but I think was a little concerned in some parts. The kids in the story go through quite a bit of agony and perilous situations. I don't think it gave her nightmares or anything, but she was glad when we finished it and went back to more traditional bedtime reading.

I like the type of book, first time reading one. I think it may motivate my children to read more often. The only discouraging factor i notice with my kids is that there arent more options that would reflect ones decision. It does however make sense to limit the options in order to allow for the scenarios to take place. And it is said that the uaually it is bad decisionts that get folks i to
