The wrappage is kind of old, but the inside is clean. Overall, it is good.

This textbook is really quite excellent. It's descriptions are clear, the examples interesting, and there's even some humor left included after the editor and publisher's got done with it. Of secondary importance, after the primary of clear descriptions of concepts, is the lack of bias in this book. It's rare that I've seen an economics text present ideas in such an ideologically neutral way: The book never says "such-and-such is a significantly superior way to do things given that you're a rational person," where other texts I've seen say almost exactly that in a (usually) more subtle manner. This book states assumptions and presents viewpoints. It doesn't bludgeon you with the Holy Truthy Facts of Economics, even while it describes why one viewpoint is the presiding one in economic thought.
