Cora Montgomery knew it was time to move on, but the call of the mountain just wouldn't let her go. What was this hold the past had over her that prevented her from fulfilling her future? Why had the journey been so hard, and why couldn't she find her happy ending? Like the dark storms that moved unbidden over the snow-shrouded peaks of the Rockies, so these haunting questions loomed over Cora and her entire family, threatening to destroy the bond they had forged through years of pain and struggle. Something was definitely missing. Something very big, and very important. And it was up to Cora to find it before it was too late.

Life, Love of Family, Love of God. I really enjoyed the way the author presented her work. An author inside an author. Once I started reading Cora's Mountain I did not want to put it down. Reynolds brought me up into the rockies alongside her. I felt her joys and her sorrows in every passage as the story progressed I became envolved emotionally. What are Cora and Wade doing today? Is Jake still riding bulls? What ever happened to Trent? Did Trevor move his family up to the mountains? I'm hanging by the strings here. I surely do hope there will be another Cora's Mountain...

This is an awesome book written on the author's actual life events. It has numerous trials of one's struggle with life and love for their family in a western/mountain atmosphere. A true love story between high school sweethearts that develops into the love of a family! Cora's Mountain is beautifully written for both the young and older audience! Many tears were shed while reading but it ended with a very happy peaceful note....
