I wound up returning this coloring book. I was disappointed because it wasn't what I had expected. The line drawings are rather intricate and would lend themselves to coloring pencils or markers, but not crayons. I also did not find the pictures themselves that interesting.

I ordered this coloring book for myself while being laid up after surgery. I do enjoy coloring detailed pictures. This book was very enjoyable. I used colored pencils on it. The pictures are like pencil sketchings and are so pretty with color added in shades. Ordered my sister this book also. We are 57 and 67 years old! We had a sleep over coloring book and movie night! Very relaxing!

I bought this for my Dad who has dimentia. It is good to keep their minds working but this coloring book is too intricate for his condition. Too detailed. I wish I could have seen the pages first before i ordered it. I had it sent directly to them and by the time I could get to them to bring it home it was past the time that i could return it. So im stuck with this coloring book unless the company will read this and take it back now - it is in excellent condition.

Sent to my aging parents with colored pencils. They LOVED this as a gift. Started using the first day it arrived.

I'm not a senior, but I enjoy coloring and I thought this book was fantastic! The pictures are delightful and interesting.

I bought this book for my 96 year old mother. My wife has gotten her interested in coloring as a way to relax and pass the time. She enjoys it, the coloring, but has been less than happy with the books we initially bought for her. They all featured mandalas of different degrees of intricacy. That's not the kind of thing my mom goes for. She just likes pictures that she can relate to. I found that when you look for coloring books for the elderly you have to take into account their mental capacity, for lack of a more delicate term. While my mom is beginning to "fade", she's still pretty sharp. I didn't want to get her books that would be too simple for her. Not a child's book. This book is exactly what she needs. She enjoys the subject matter of the pictures and the coloring. This is a very good book.

I only gave it 3 stars, because a lot of the pictures in the book were disappointing to me. Price was expensive and I thought the pages would be a lot better. The ones I did color came out beautiful. The others, my grand children even refused to color because they did not like them. My grand children love to color, but these pictures were a turn off. I would have spent this money on other books if I would have known more about this book before I bought it.
