ALPHABET STENCIL BOOKStencil Fonts by Jeff LevineThis book is a wonderful tool for capturing both letter and number images. There is also a small section with beautiful borders and an assortment of other images. The stencils are created on heavy paper and the lines are very sharp. Each page has a perforated edge and therefore it is easy to place the stenciled images anywhere. If one doesn’t have the artistic ability, but still a creative eye, everything is here. Lettering and numbering and all shapes and sizes are available to explore. There is a very good section on “how to.” Brushes, and techniques are described in detail. I recently started a beading project utilizing the “bird” image and was absolutely delighted how easy it was. No messy transfer agents, hot iron, or ink jet printer to utilize. Within a very short time my stenciled project was ready to enhance with the tiny seed beads. My collection of stencils is quite large, but all of them require a sharp knife and a keen and steady hand. This book makes the act of stenciling quite easy and very professional looking. Way to go!

Stencils are about as thick as a heavy weight card stock. Many are very tricky tearing out due to the cuts of the image being so close to the tear line. This is exactly what I was looking for and I am happy with it. I plan on cutting all the sheets in half and keeping them in a fold with my other stencils. However you could put the stencil back in the book and hold it in place with paper clips bc each stencil sheet is separated by a solid page.

This is a nice book to have if you are doing small lettering.I will definitely use it but I wish they showed the fonts you are getting in the description. Most of the letters are fairly small, less than 2". One lower case font does have larger letters. The different fonts are each on their own page. Each page is a 12x12 cardboard sheet. It's a little difficult to get properly spaced lettering since you can't see you previous work through the cardboard. It's a pretty good collection but I wish each letter was perforated to make my work look more uniform.

and the dividers cardboard and not the other way around. I'm thinking of returning it for just this reason. Limited use from cardboard even if I were to seal them with something. As one reviewer remarked, it is difficult to get the letters aligned. An "almost" book... could have been great.
